nexus uk biomass case study of lexum hall

Project History

The owner was interested in installing a wood chip boiler in order to lower fuel costs and utilise the woodland resource from within Lexham Estate. The requirement was to heat the Hall, two Cottages, the Estate office and a Greenhouse.

Solution

Nexus Energy Ltd designed and specified the wood fuelled heating system using a Heizomat RHK-AK 204 (198kW) boiler system – a fully modulating and completely automated biomass solution. The district heating scheme was specified to take heat from the most convenient boiler/hopper location to the properties and areas of proportional heat demand.
